Worst Job Ever (For Me, Anyway)

Well, since it's job week, here's my "Worst Job I've Ever Had" entry. I worked delivering auto parts for a local supplier about 5 years ago. It was a survival job and I'm lucky I survived. The people I worked with were cool but the guy who owned the place didn't put too much money into the vehicles we had to drive. He got the crappiest and cheapest trucks he could get and did the absolute minimum to maintain them. Most of the other parts stores had new, leased trucks. We got to drive vehicles with two tires in the junkyard. The pay wasn't that great either. I managed to find another job after about 6 months and was thrilled to leave. I think they're still using most of the same trucks as when I was there. |
